MEET THE COUNSELOR
I am Dr. Felice Saleem and I am looking forward to working with your child as the 6th grade school counselor for the 2020-2021 school year. I was born and raised in Gray, Georgia. I am military veteran spouse of 18 years, and a mother of six children. Henceforth, my aspiration to work with young personalities is deep-rooted into my family relationships.
I earned my Bachelor of art interdisciplinary studies from Liberty University; and year later, I earned my Master Art Human in Services Marriage & Family Counseling from Liberty University, and finally, in 2019, May, I received my master’s degree in education of School Counseling. Currently, I aspire to expand the horizons of my competence and continue my education to receive a doctorate in community care and counseling, specializing in Traumatology.
I will be providing holistic support for all students by social and mental health programs, academic achievement, and career development. This year will be my sixth year working for Bibb County Schools. I am excited to be part of the BHMS school counseling team looking forward to building connections with students, families, and stakeholders of Ballard Hudson Middle School.
